 Position and functions

The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is a specialized agency under the Provincial People's Committee, responsible for advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in performing state management functions in the following areas: culture; family affairs; physical training and sports; tourism; press; publishing, printing, and distribution; radio and television broadcasting; electronic information; news agencies; grassroots and external information; advertising; and the use of the National Flag, National Emblem, National Anthem, and portraits of President Ho Chi Minh.

The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has legal status, its own seal, and an independent account. It operates under the direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee regarding its organization, personnel, and operations, while also complying with the guidance and professional inspection of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
