146 units participate in cultural and tourism product exhibition and promotion at the 2026 Ban Flower Festival
Within the framework of the 2026 Ban Flower Festival, the exhibition and promotion of cultural and tourism products, along with cultural experience spaces, attracted 146 participating units with 205 exhibition booths.

Comrade Lo Van Cuong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (sixth from the left), together with several leaders of provincial departments and sectors of Dien Bien, took a commemorative photo with Ms. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam (fifth from the right), at the exhibition booth of the Embassy of Thailand.
Among them were 51 units from within the province and 95 units from outside the province representing 23 provinces and cities, along with the participation of the Embassy of Thailand in Vietnam and 29 communes and wards presenting traditional cultural exhibition spaces. The active participation of units, localities, enterprises and organizations demonstrated the strong appeal of this year’s Ban Flower Festival, while enriching the cultural and tourism activities of Dien Bien Province.

According to the plan, the exhibition activities took place from March 6 to March 12, 2026 with various activities such as experiencing traditional crafts, introducing distinctive local cuisines, performing folk songs and dances, cultural and artistic exchanges, and interactive activities serving residents and visitors.

Here, residents and visitors also had the opportunity to visit and purchase many typical and distinctive products of Dien Bien Province as well as those from other localities, featuring a wide variety of items.
Visitors listened to the sound of the Mong flute at the exhibition space of Pu Nhi Commune.
In particular, on March 10, 2026, the Organizing Committee conducted a judging session for the traditional cultural exhibition spaces of communes and wards to honor distinctive cultural values and encourage creativity in preserving and promoting local cultural identities.

The exhibition and promotion space for cultural and tourism products and cultural experiences at the 2026 Ban Flower Festival not only served as a place to introduce distinctive cultural and tourism products, but also functioned as a meeting point for cultural exchange, trade connections and the promotion of commerce and tourism. Through these activities, the image of the land and people of Dien Bien as friendly and hospitable was further promoted to friends and visitors both domestically and internationally.
