Ban Flower Festival was restored and preserved in 2014 to promote and exploit the unique cultural values and identities for tourism development since and has now become a rendezvous for tourists in Ban Flower land when the white flowers cover mountains and hills in every spring.

Ban Flower Festival, with series of unique cultural and artistic activities is not only for Thai people, but it has become a festival of the whole people living in Dien Bien. The Festival is an occasion for young people to meet, date, share a good time, and have fun with unique shows. The space becomes bustling with the sounds of the Pi (bamboo flute), Khen (bambom trumpet), drums, gongs, and folk music and dances. Tourists can also immerse themselves into the jubilant atmosphere of the Festival to enjoy and experience the upland culture.
