Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra visits booths at Muong Thanh Tourism Market

On the evening of March 11, during her working visit to Dien Bien Province, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra and her delegation visited booths displaying, promoting and introducing cultural and tourism products as well as cultural experience spaces at the Muong Thanh Tourism Market area in Dien Bien Phu Ward.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, together with the delegation and provincial leaders, visited a booth introducing traditional brocade weaving products.

Joining the delegation from Dien Bien Province were Comrade Tran Tien Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Le Thanh Do, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Comrade Le Van Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; and Comrade Mua A Vang, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra and the delegation experienced ethnic cultural spaces at exhibition booths of communes and wards across the province.

As part of the series of activities of the 2026 Ban Flower Festival, the exhibition, promotion and introduction of cultural and tourism products together with cultural experience spaces attracted more than 200 units with nearly 300 booths from 23 provinces and cities nationwide, featuring a wide variety of products from traditional craft villages as well as distinctive culinary specialties from localities across the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra highly appreciated the quality, designs and development potential of the products.

While visiting the booths, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra appreciated the richness and diversity of typical agricultural products, OCOP products and goods from Dien Bien Province and other localities participating in the exhibition. In particular, at the booth introducing traditional brocade weaving products of ethnic minority communities, the Deputy Prime Minister highly praised the quality and the intricate patterns of the products.

The Deputy Prime Minister, together with the delegation and provincial leaders, visited exhibition booths at the Muong Thanh Tourism Market.

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that units should strengthen the promotion and introduction of products, enhance product connection and sales, gradually improve business efficiency, and bring distinctive local products to wider markets./.
