On the morning of February 24th, in the vibrant atmosphere of the early days of the New Year, the Party Committee, authorities and people of all ethnic groups of Tua Chua commune solemnly organized the Opening Ceremony of Spring Tourism 2026. Attending the ceremony was Comrade Lo Van Cuong – Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Spring Tourism 2026 features a wide range of diverse activities, including: a Spring Festival; traditional market fair; night market; performances of folk culture and arts; introduction of local cuisine and typical products; and traditional folk games.

The event holds important significance in introducing and promoting the image of Tua Chua homeland – a land rich in cultural traditions and imbued with ethnic identity – to friends and visitors from near and far.

Tua Chua has long been home to ethnic communities such as Thai, Mong, Kho Mu and several others. Over generations, the Thai xoe dance circles, the sounds of Mong khen and flutes, along with the traditional customs and rituals of the Kho Mu people, have been carefully preserved and passed down through time, becoming the very soul of the villages and a source of pride for the homeland.

These values serve as vital resources for developing tourism in a sustainable direction, linking cultural preservation with economic development, and combining tradition with integration and innovation. In the coming time, the Party Committee and authorities of Tua Chua commune identify tourism development as a key task, to be implemented in a focused, sustainable manner, preserving ethnic identity and improving the people’s living standards./.
