Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offers incense in Commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh and pays tribute to Heroic Martyrs in Dien Bien

On the morning of March 8th, on the occasion of the 2026 Ban Flower Festival, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation offered flowers and incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House at the E2 Hill Historical Site; paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Temple of Martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield; and visited the A1 National Martyrs’ Cemetery.

Attending the memorial ceremony on behalf of Dien Bien Province were Comrades: Tran Tien Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Le Van Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mua A Vang, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Province; Tran Quoc Cuong, Former Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, 14th tenure; along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

At the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, together with the central and Dien Bien provincial delegations, respectfully offered flowers and incense, expressing profound gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh – the great leader of our Party and people and an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers’ movement. He devoted his entire life to the cause of national liberation and the struggle for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese nation and people around the world.

The Ho Chi Minh Memorial House is a cultural and historical project of great significance, aimed at educating revolutionary traditions and contributing to the completion of the cultural and historical space at the E2 Hill historical site. The project was inaugurated on January 31, 2026, covering an area of 160 square meters and featuring a traditional two-roof architectural design. The project was invested by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with resource support from the Party Committee, authorities and people of Ho Chi Minh City.

Upholding the Vietnamese tradition of gratitude and remembrance, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation respectfully bowed their heads to express boundless gratitude for the immense sacrifices of heroic martyrs, armed forces soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline laborers and compatriots who bravely fought and sacrificed their lives on the Dien Bien Phu battlefield so that the Fatherland today may flourish in peace. The delegation offered flowers and incense at the Temple of Martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the Prime Minister and the delegation respectfully offered incense in remembrance and expressed profound gratitude, honoring the great sacrifices of heroic martyrs who bravely fought and devoted their youth and lives on the heroic land of Dien Bien Phu, contributing to the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory that brought independence and freedom to the Fatherland./.
